Warner Bros agree licence for QuVIS QPE

QuVIS, a pioneer in wavelet based digital motion imaging technology, has announced an agreement to license its Quality Priority Encoding (QPE) encoding/decoding technology to Warner Bros.
The studios technical operations division has licensed the QPE technology for use in the manipulation and storage of digital content for motion pictures.
QPE is a wavelet based motion imagery encoding process that guarantees image quality at user-defined levels to deliver pristine, digitally mastered movies for post production, digital dailies and digital cinema distribution and presentation.
