GatesAir Adds Seven New Patents
GatesAir has added seven new patent awards to its 238 previous US and Global patents, providing a foundation to improve signal quality and enhance technical efficiencies in the over-the-air broadcast architecture.
The new patent awards demonstrate the continued innovation of the over-the-air TV and radio solutions provider, and the hard work and dedication of the company's scientists and engineers.
The seven patent awards span a variety of technical inventions, including:
• Predictable Coding Delay over Communications Networks
• Operation of an Antenna on a Second, Higher Frequency
• Systems and Methods for Presentation of Digital Media at a Mobile Platform
• Broadband High-Efficiency Amplifier System Incorporating Dynamic Modulation of Load Impedance.
GatesAir recognises the achievements of the following company scientists and engineers responsible for innovations in over-the-air broadcasting. They are: Jay Adrick, Kevin Berndsen, Dmitri Borodulin, George Cabrera, Junius Kim, John Levieux, and Ted Staros. A complete list of the new patents and their recipients can be found here, in addition to a list of the seven additional GatesAir patents pending clearance.
Rich Redmond, Chief Product Officer, GatesAir, said: "These innovations are focused on improving system methods and enabling greater efficiencies that affect everything from signal management and amplification, to the delivery of dynamic media content to consumers on the move. We are committed to evolving the over-the-air broadcast experience for consumers across radio, TV and mobile platforms."
