Grass Valley equipment chosen for top sports event
Grass Valley products from Thomson are in widespread use this week during the 9th World Championship in Athletics games, which started recently in Paris.
Representing tens of millions of dollars in orders, outside broadcast (OB) companies worldwide are standardising on Grass Valley digital acquisition and production equipment from Thomson.
Increasingly, the world's broadcast and sports/entertainment media leaders are demanding multi-format standard- and high-definition (SD/HD) support.
The continued adoption of multi-format SD and HD-switchable Grass Valley cameras, camera control systems, vision mixers, routers, and servers is helping mobile production leaders create high-quality, cost-effective productions for their clients and make future-proofed investments in their own mobile production trucks and facilities.
