Win For IABM At Association Excellence Awards
IABM has won the Best Training Initiative category at this year's Association Excellence Awards for the contribution its Training Academy has made to the broadcast industry.
The awards seek to recognise associations that distinguish themselves through serving and delivering value to their members. Winners were announced during a gala ceremony at QEII Centre in London and were presented by the Right Honourable Michael Portillo.
"We are delighted to be recognised as the award really reinforces the work we've been doing in developing and delivering relevant courses that proactively address the requirements of the sector," said Steve Warner, Training Manager, IABM. "Our training academy has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, serving a global market with an appetite for training in the broadcast sector. This year we are launching a virtual classroom environment with a number of new and existing online courses, which will broaden our reach even further."
In addition, IABM has partnered with UBMS to deliver training in Dubai in May for the first time.
"And in another first, we will be delivering two of our most popular courses at NAB in Las Vegas in June. The courses, including Broadcast Technology Workflows and Understanding File Formats, will bring added value to our members and enable them to optimise their time at the event," added Warner.
The Association Excellence Awards are organised by The Global Conference Network (GCN) and feature a judging panel of over 25 chief executives from leading associations.
