Broadcast Technology announce DTDA 3000
Combining transport stream detection, switching and distribution in a single module, Broadcast Technology's new DTDA 3000 is a fully ASI-DBV-compliant distribution amplifier with three inputs and six outputs.
Designed for use in broadcast signal monitoring and cable head-end applications, the DTDA 3000 continuously checks the transport stream validity of all three input channels. Alarms can be activated if transport stream sync is lost or in the event of data rate or null packets exceeding user-programmable thresholds. Monitoring can be performed locally or remotely via RS232 serial control or DARTnet, including input and output channel selection.
Like all modules in the Broadcast Technology 3000 series, the DTDA 3000 is ideal for use in non-single-point-of-failure systems. All inputs and outputs are 75 ohm impedance BNC 800 mV peak-to-peak (terminated). Power consumption is 8W.
The DTDA occupies a single slot in the 3U DTRS 3000 digital television rack system which accommodates up to 14 cards in the Broadcast Technology 3000 series (any-module-in-any-slot design). Each card is hot-swappable and can be controlled via RS232 or DARTnet. A redundant dual power supply is optionally available, also hot-swappable.
