Avid Teams With Amptec For ISE 2015
Avid has announced it will team up with Amptec to showcase its latest live sound solution, the Avid VENUE S3L-X System, at this year's ISE.
VENUE S3L-X is part of the Avid Artist Suite of creative tools for live sound, audio and video production powered by the Avid MediaCentral Platform.
Live sound engineers will be offered the opportunity to view and demo the VENUE | S3L-X. The Ethernet AVB-networked modular system features:
• I/O sharing between multiple systems, with advanced gain management, over Ethernet AVB
• Recording directly to Avid Pro Tools® (or other DAWs) through a laptop Ethernet connection
• On-board 64-bit Pro Tools AAX plug-ins
• Mixing Pro Tools and other DAW sessions using just the Pro Tools | S3 control surface and a laptop
