SCTE India Appoints Honorary National Secretary

The Society for Broadband Professionals, SCTE India, has announced that the co-founder of SCTE India, Rahul Nehra, has been appointed as its Honorary National Secretary.

In his new role, Nehra will help SCTE India to drive its initiatives as India goes digital in the cable and broadband space.

Nehra is an industry leader in the converged space spanning broadcast technologies, satellite, content and OTT. He has contributed to the success of blue-chip companies like Intelsat, Irdeto, Exset - General Satellite and Latens-Pace globally with a focus in India and Asia over the last two decades.

Nehra is also the founder of Aarti TV and has pioneered international African cinema through his venture, Africa Film Factory. Actively involved in philanthropy, his major projects include Khushika, a non-governmental organization.

Apart from SCTE India, he is also credited as being the co-founder of well-known industry bodies such as the VAS Council, a global initiative in the field of content technology and applications in the multi-screen world.
