Pinnacle Systems' Edition DV tour continues

Pinnacle Systems’ own professional editing software Edition DV, designed from the ground up to handle digital content better than any other desktop video editing system, is currently on tour around the country.
Pinnacle Systems’ who provide cutting-edge digital video tools more easily and more affordably than ever before, are offering consumers the unique opportunity to try-out their Edition Experience.
Running from February until June, the roadshow will visit 12 towns and cities across the country, including Scotland and Ireland – see www.editionexperience.com for details.
Each session of the Edition roadshow is broken into two strands - an introduction for newcomers and workshops for existing users.
The introductory sessions last for approximately two hours and are designed to show exactly what Edition is and what it is capable of in a see and edit classroom setting.
They will give all editing users, new and old, the chance to drive, feel and learn the feature set of Edition. By the end of the session, customers should have some familiarity with Edition and at all the venues we will be offering the opportunity to upgrade/purchase at special rates.
These introductory sessions cover: interface overview, story boarding, timeline editing, titling in TitleDeko, 2D and 3D editors, and how to output in different formats
The workshops are two-hour sessions aimed at new and existing users of Edition at a special price of £35. They are designed to advance your editing skills and help you find the quickest to get the best from the software. Spaces on these workshops are limited to 20 as each person is allocated a laptop on booking.
These workshops for existing users cover: logging tool and capture, media management, three-point editing, containers and their uses, timeline syncing and trimming, audio editing and voice over, and export to DVD and web format and where best to use them.
