Dates for Halle Master 'Cartoon Creativity' event announced

The European Association of Animators will be running their Halle Master 'Cartoon Creativity' event from April 25-27 in Halle, Germany.
The event has vacancies for 80 professionals, and organisers will be employing a first-come-first-served policy towards registration – the deadline for which is April 10.
The organisers hope to address areas such as: how to get an original idea to production stage effectively; the relationship between creators and producers; the relationship between the creator and the law; the editorial line followed by different broadcasters; and practical skills workshops.
Over the three-day meeting, visitors will be able to take part in a number of seminars on practical topics such as the use of music in film, and editing and pacing of the narrative. Other seminars on law, economics and graphics will also help provide a background to the business side of the industry.
The guest speakers are made up of professionals representing the variety of roles within the creative and production process, including Susanne Muller, Head of Children's Programmes for ZDF (Germany), Theresa Plummer-Andrews, Head of Acquisitions and Co-Productions for Children's BBC, and Stephane Lieser, a leading audiovisual lawyer.
The event has been targeted towards animators, scriptwriters, graphics artists, producers, directors and studio managers and costs €400 per ticket.
