Leader introduce LT 447 multiformat pattern generator

An exceptionally versatile pattern generator optimised for manufacturers and service centres of high-resolution CRT monitors, projectors, TFT liquid crystal displays and plasma screens, the new Leader LT 447 produces a wide range of highly stable digitally-originated test images in 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio, including colour bar, cross-hatch, circle, greyscale, monoscope and alpha-numeric characters.
A natural picture pattern feature is optional. Compatible with 29 digital television formats, the LT 447 can output each pattern as analogue GBR/YUV, Y/C and composite video with a separate feed for composite sync (binary or tri-level), horizontal and vertical sync. The Y/C feed emerges on an S-connector with S1 and S2 path identification. Output is also available via D5 connector (conforming to EIAF CP-4120 standards) or DVI-D connector conforming to DDWG.
The LT 447 is compatible with all established television standards as well as their many subformats. These comprise the eight variants of 1920 x 1080-line component, five variants of 1280 x 720-line component, four component SD formats (720 x 480-line and 720 x 576 line), eight composite standards (NTSC, PAL and SECAM) plus four 60 Hz computer display feeds (640 x 480 VGA, 800 x 600 SVGA, 1024 x 768 XGA and 1280 x 1024 SXGA).
Occupying a compact 2U, the LT 447 enables up to 100 combinations of signal format and test pattern to be stored in user memory and can be controlled from a remote computer via RS-232C interface.
