Cinema Concepts buys first Clipster
Cinema Concepts of Atlanta, Georgia have purchased the first Clipster real-time editing-system to be delivered in the US.
The workstation for uncompressed SD to 2K is currently being installed at Cinema Concepts, with two more Clipster units planned to complete the network by the end of 2003.
Stewart Harnell, CEO of Cinema Concepts, said: "Our continuing strategy of market leadership dictates acquiring 2K editing and screen reformatting capabilities in conjunction with the expansion of our studio production and digital screening facilities in 2003. Although many suppliers claim fast HD-editing performance, only DVS' Clipster delivers 2K- and HD-editing and reformatting in real time, and, as a bonus, Clipster does it very cost effectively, both in terms of equipment investment and operational efficiency. For Cinema Concepts CLIPSTER is the only choice."
