Latest versions of 844/X and XBLUR to be shown at IBC

Media 100, a leading provider of advanced media systems, have announced details of their on-stand display at IBC 2003 in Amsterdam.
The company, creator of the award-winning 844/X family of real-time vertical editing systems, will be showing the 844/X Finishing Release, the system's Version 2.0 software that recently began shipping to customers, as well as XBLUR, the industry's first real-time 10-bit 50-pixel Gaussian Blur capability.
844/X, launched in 2002, is installed at over 200 facilities around the world including such high-profile European companies as Abbey Road Interactive, BBC, Playboy TV and QVC. 844/X integrates editing with realtime compositing and 10-bit native image quality to deliver multi-layers effects with guaranteed real-time performance and no dropped frames. Working without the restraints of rendering, operators and producers alike are saving time and money, while offering improved quality and increased creativity.
Media 100 will have a 60 square meter stand at the entrance of hall seven.
On the stand, visitors will be able to see full demonstrations of the suite of products in public demo's and private suites, meet 844/X experts and discuss the products in detail in the on-stand hospitality area.
