Camera Corps To Demonstrate Systems At Wildscreen Film Festival
Camera Corps will demonstrate its range of compact and remote camera systems at the biennial Wildscreen Film Festival in Bristol, October 19-24, 2014.
The event brings together programme producers, investors, commissioners, buyers and broadcasters to discuss all aspects of wildlife filmmaking and photography. Rounding the week off will be the Wildscreen Panda Awards, dubbed 'The Green Oscars', which celebrate the best in natural history filmmaking.
"A distinguishing feature of Camera Corps is our design team's proven ability to innovate faster and better than any of our competitors," says Camera Corps' Commercial Manager Barry Parker. "We have an developed an extremely wide range of speciality cameras over the years and can create solutions to meet programme-production challenges that go far beyond traditional engineering boundaries.
"Our key message for visitors to the Wildscreen Film Festival is that Camera Corps systems as can capture images from practically any location, above ground, underground or under water, in normal light, low light or infra-red, in practically any weather. Our low-noise high-precision remote control drives, including joystick-based gradual acceleration, make the total system ideal for unobtrusive wildlife programme production.
"We will be showing our latest Q3 fully controllable remote pan/tilt/zoom/focus head and the MeerCat ultra-compact fixed camera, both of which were introduced at the NAB Show in April and are now in production. They will be demonstrated as part of a complete remotely controlled system including ancillary equipment from our sister companies in the Vitec Videocom division."
