Framestore CFC star at Siggraph

Among the established favourites at this year's Siggraph event is the Siggraph Animation Theatre, which this year is showing four pieces of Framestore CFC's work, a conference record for a single company.
Siggraph has become synonymous with excellence in VFX work, providing as it does a rare opportunity for people in the industry to meet and exchange ideas, as well as a chance to see a selection of peer-chosen pieces of the finest VFX and digital art available from around the world.
There are 51 pieces being screened at the Animation Theatre this year, chosen from 635 entries. The four pieces by Framestore CFC cover all aspects of the company's work, from commercials (Johnnie Walker 'Fish', Volvic 'Jog'), to television documentary ('Giant Claw/Land of Giants' - two 'Walking With Dinosaurs' specials), to feature films (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets).
That it is a British company, rather than one of the US giants, that can claim this modest record will be cause for no little pride among the artists from Framestore CFC attending Siggraph this year.
