Proximity set to unveil xenomotion at NAB

Proximity are set to introduce xenomotion – their real-world solution for the browse, transfer, transcode and distribution of video, stills and audio content – at NAB2002.
As well as many non-proprietary formats, xenomotion provides support for material created on Quantel, Pinnacle, Grass Valley Group, Avid, Adobe, Chyron and many other platforms.
The product has already been used by NBC Olympics at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
The xenomotion technology enables an improvement in the way television broadcasters can transfer, transcode and distribute video and other media.
Proximity hope that xenomotion will allow expenses to be reduced from acquisition to production to distribution and broadcast by up to 40 per cent. Also the time to complete the end-to-end process may be reduced by 400 per cent.

Proximity have expanded their line of media integration and management products (now installed in over 100 sites in 13 countries) with the launch of the xenomotion Media Engine.
Proximity will also be showing the latest release of xenostore Media Catalog software at NAB2002. xenostore can be integrated with xenomotion to provides a single catalogue for all media.
Proximity will be in the Sands Expo Center Booth S4265 at NAB2002.
