Canal Sur go on air with Daletplus
Dalet Digital Media Systems, a leading provider of media management tools, have announced that Canal Sur (RTVA), located in Andalucia, have implemented the DaletPlus newsroom solution.
RTVA broadcasts on two terrestrial TV stations, one satellite TV channel, three radio stations and publishes material on the Internet. DaletPlus integrates their news production and broadcast tools for radio, television and the web. The 800-seat installation spans 11 regions throughout southern Spain, supporting several hundred journalists and news production personnel.
Antonio Blasco, Technical Director of RTVA, said: "The Dalet system has allowed us to fully integrate our radio and TV newsrooms so that reporters can easily create content for both media. We are also able to easily publish multimedia content on the Web."
“RTVA is a perfect example of DaletPlus’ versatility, reliability and strength,” said David Amselem, vice president of product strategy and marketing. “The technology is transparent to the journalists and can be utilised for the many mediums of communication.”
