Procam opt for Angenieux lenses

London-based crew and equipment hire company Procam Television have added Angenieux lenses to their expanding equipment portfolio.
Company directors John Brennan (pictured, left) and Cal Barton tested the lenses extensively before purchasing a quantity of them.
“We found that image sharpness and build quality were excellent. The lenses feel nice and solid, well-made and reliable. We also appreciated the price, representing a significant saving over similar Broadcast lenses from other manufacturers” Barton said.
“We are currently evaluating the 12x5.3mm lens. One attractive feature is the longer zoom ratio than available with other wide-angle lenses and the fact that the built-in extender will allow it to double up as a standard lens at a pinch.”
Procam rent a wide range of PAL and NTSC production equipment, with experienced and creative crews.
