OpTex announce availability of Angenieux HD Optimo Zoom
For those planning an HD shoot, OpTex have announced the immediate availability for hire of Angenieux's Optimo 12x 9.7 High Definition Zoom lens.
With digital cinematographers demanding the same quality of optics as those made for film it is with this idea in mind that Angenieux rebuilt their outstanding Optimo 24-290 35mm lens to create an HD equivalent as the lens for HDTV productions.
The Optimo 12x 9.7 has a resolving power far in excess of the quality of any HD camera currently available. This superior lens features: an extremely fast aperture of f/1.4 (T1.6); impressive contrast and colour reproduction; no ramping and no breathing.
