Disney announce exclusive film screening at displayLA

Walt Disney Pictures are to present a free digital screening of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' exclusively to registrants of this year's displayLA Conference & Technology Showcase.
The screening of the film, released by Walt Disney Pictures and starring Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush, will be held Friday, July 18 at 7:00 at Hollywood Pacific Theatre's Digital Cinema Laboratory, one of the most innovative and revered facilities of its kind.
Attendance to this special event is limited to paid conference registrants at displayL.A.
"We want to provide those involved in the technology, creative, production and business side of the industry the chance to see motion pictures projected digitally in the best possible light," explained CEO/Executive Director Charles S. Swartz. "The Digital Cinema Laboratory has the highest quality presentation capabilities and enables audiences to experience the stellar quality of digital presentation.
