Courtyard announce IBC plans

Courtyard Electronics are to launch several innovative new products at IBC 2003.
The CY430-HD – HD/SD Master SPG and test signal generator extends the popular CY430 Master SPG series into HD, providing tri-level syncs for all commonly used HD formats, as well as catering for SD. It delivers a highly accurate and stable HD sync source from a 1RU box making it ideal for OB use as well as studio operation. The inclusion of digital test patterns and an HD-SDI output adds to the versatility of this unit.
The production version of SoftClock, a must for NLE, is on show and is available from the special e-commerce site – www.courtyard.tv. SoftClock runs as an application on PCs addressing the needs of thousands of editors wanting a clock for their leader/countdown. Running as a separate application, it creates the countdown leader ‘VT clock’ and saves it as a sequence of TGA/JPEG files or as an AVI file. The sequence is then easily imported into NLE applications for inclusion on the timeline. SoftClock’s appearance is personalised by simply including company or client logos, contact details and also has a scratch-pad area for noting current job information.
As the result of continuous product development, other updates and improvements to the existing products are also on show. These contribute to the power of the Courtyard range that includes: on-air branding tools – LogoDog, SportsDog and the TimePiCe in-vision clock, the Sheriff legaliser, DiamondCREDIT character generator and colour correctors.
