DECODE Announces London Networking Event

Camera, grip and lighting supplier Decode has announced a free networking event it will be holding to facilitate collaboration within the industry sector.

"When we ally the power of social media with the possibility of chasing business and work leads by meeting face to face with a potential investor, client, employer or collaborator the possibilities are endless," a statement said. "This idea has driven us here at DECODE to organise our own FREE networking events via the Meet Up platform.
"At each event we'll have an Experienced Media Industry Professional as a guest speaker whom will be sharing knowledge and experience with those attending in an open talk with Q&As.
"We will also be presenting and demoing new and exciting equipment at these events, from camera's to rigs and lighting, with professional technical help available."
The next event will be 21 May, featuring renowned colourist Dado Valentic from My Therapy TV as a guest speaker.
"Having worked in post-production Soho facilities for over 10 years Dado has a wealth of experience grading and finishing commercial work and feature films," the company said. "He will be discussing and showing the new digital workflows that producers and filmmakers are being exposed to, and how filming with the new formats and technologies has changed the way finishing and colour grading is done."
DECODE will also be demoing to the new Photron Fastcam BC2 HD. Technicians will be on hand who will be able to answer any questions in regards to the camera and its operation. Attendees will be able to review footage live from the camera for their own assessment.
The venue for the meet up will be the DECODE Studio at the Wimbledon Film and TV Studios.
