VideoLondon Soundstudios nominated for BAFTA

VideoLondon Soundstudios' Head of Sound, Colin Martin, has received a BAFTA craft award nomination.
The nomination is for best Television Drama sound on 'Othello' - a modern day version of the Shakespeare play produced by London Weekend Television.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Savoy Hotel on May 12.
In the meantime, Colin Martin will be mixing 'Silent Witness' (series six) for the BBC and 'Hornblower' (series three) for Meridian Television. Videolondon have supplied full Audio Post facilities for all the previous 'Hornblower' episodes.
Recent productions completed at Videolondon include, 'Danny and his Amazing Teeth' for Steve Bowden at Ipso Facto Films, 'Narrow is the Gate' for Kirsty Uibo at Trinity Films and 'Hoover Street Revival' for Sophie Fiennes at Amoeba Films. All of these Dolby Cinema release projects were mixed by George Foulgham who recently started mixing 'Sahara with Michael Palin' – a 4x60-minute television documentary series for Prominent Television.
Beta Film in Germany have recently completed a large lip sync dubbing contract at VideoLondon for 'The Young Casanova' at big-budget television drama in 2x100-minute parts. Steve Bray recorded the ADR and Christopher Cruise directed the sessions.
