Recruitment call for young people interested in TV profession

Television and Young People (TVYP) are currently seeking recruits to attend a free five-day event for 150 young people aged 18 to 21 who aspire to work in television.
The selected participants will be involved in masterclasses, workshops, career surgeries and social events with leading television industry professionals in Edinburgh as a part of the Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival.
Last year, contributors to the event included Louis Theroux, CNN, 'Coronation Street' and TVYP Patron Graham Norton.
Television and Young People (TVYP) is the educational arm of the Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival and is viewed as the UK's leading forum for young people interested in a television career.
So, if you are aged 18 to 21 and have a desire to work in the television industry, you could be one of the fortunate 150 delegates who will be selected to attend five days of events.
Other than travel to and from Edinburgh, all expenses will be covered by TVYP. The closing date for applications is May 10, 2002.
For more information about how to apply, visit the website at, TVYP.
