NewTek To Present Multi-Camera Production Systems At CABSAT 2014

At CABSAT 2014 in Dubai, NewTek will present selected models from its new family of professional TriCaster multi-camera production systems for the first time in the Middle East region.
These systems, launched at IBC 2013, offer innovations including multiple mix/effects (M/E) channels per system, 'holographic' live virtual sets and extended graphics capabilities that enable video producers to create broadcast quality, cost-effective content with a single system.
Visitors to CABSAT will also see 3Play 4800, NewTek's flagship multi-camera replay server that redefines price/performance standards in live sports production. In addition, NewTek will demonstrate ChyronIP, a real-time 2D and 3D graphics and character generator that provides any TriCaster production with up to two HD or SD full-motion channels of Chyron graphics.
NewTek representatives will be in attendance to support the company's local distributor, MediaCast Systems.
The NewTek systems that will be demonstrated at CABSAT 2014 are:
• TriCaster 8000 – The flagship content publishing hub for all the media in a live programme, with a premium 8 M/E production switcher, built-in failsafe and redundancy capabilities, and extensive router support for enhanced broadcast integration, massive multi-camera coverage, and mission critical high-end productions of any size.
• TriCaster 460 – A compact system with a full 4 M/E production switcher, including flexible I/O connectivity and a broad creative toolset for any small or medium-sized production, particularly where a live video programme is touched up, re-packaged or re-purposed for postproduction or supplemental programming.
• 3Play 4800 – Unlike any other replay server on the market, 3Play 4800 offers more real-time capabilities in a single turnkey system, placing an unprecedented toolset at the fingertips of every replay operator. Top features of the system include redundant capture, high-end visuals, live replay switching, high quality slow motion and social media publishing capabilities.
