NewTek Deliver Live Events Broadcasting Seminar For BVE

NewTek will showcase its full range of TriCaster™ live production solutions along with its 3Play™ 425 slow motion instant replay solutions on Stand E25 at BVE 2013.
Show attendees will also be able to see demonstrations of how the ChyronIP 3D graphics generator works exclusively with the TriCaster systems. For the first time, NewTek will introduce BVE attendees to Broadcast Minds™—a rapidly growing worldwide community of professionals who come together to examine the massive shift in the way people produce and consume online video content. The Broadcast Minds panel session, taking place at the Live Event Broadcasting Theatre on Tuesday 26th February at 12 noon, is a free seminar where industry experts will discuss the various ways they are using video to communicate, and the tools and techniques they rely on to achieve success.
"The fact that video content now accounts for more than half of all Internet traffic across the globe is widely known. What most people don’t realize is that it no longer takes a large production crew, an expensive studio, and a broadcast network to produce high-quality stories and share them with the world," said Carter Holland, EVP of Worldwide Marketing at NewTek. "This year at BVE, we’ll show how and why NewTek’s multi-camera video production systems are the preferred choice of media professionals who are seeking new, more cost-effective ways to produce programs online that rival any show you might see on a network."
TriCaster – Video Production and Live Streaming Solution
NewTek’s TriCaster line is designed to meet the demands of the entire spectrum of video producers, including those who want to deliver live events to a global audience. From bloggers, schools and small businesses, to broadcast networks, large media publishers, and major event producers—anyone using TriCaster can decrease their total cost of ownership while increasing the quality of their productions. The newest model, TriCaster 40, allows small-market TV stations, schools, small businesses, and production start-ups to create professional, real-time programs and stream them to the Web, while TriCaster 8000 is designed to deliver live video for large, complex events with full integration of social media production tools. Ultimately, there is a TriCaster solution suited for productions and budgets of every size.
3Play - Slow Motion and Replay Solution
NewTek’s 3Play system is a slow motion and instant replay solution that lets production teams deliver network-style live sports coverage from anywhere. By packing more action and highlights into game day broadcasts, 3Play allows producers to give fans more of what they want to see – whether produced from a van, from the press booth, or even from the sidelines.
ChyronIP - Real-time Character and Graphics Generator
Visitors to the NewTek booth will also see ChyronIP, a real-time HD/SD 2D and 3D character and graphics generator, working with TriCaster live production systems. Loaded with all of the features and functions offered by Chyron’s Lyric™ PRO software, ChyronIP delivers key and fill signals via TriCaster network interface, which gives producers two full HD or SD live full-motion channels of Chyron graphics without tying up any of TriCaster’s video inputs.
Broadcast Minds – Industry Leaders Discuss Innovations for Future Broadcasting
As a sponsor of the new Live Events Broadcasting seminar at BVE 2013, which focuses on best practices for live production, NewTek customers Helen Kavanagh with Stream UK, Petro Mnych with Arsenal Broadband Ltd, Mark Tasker with Fruition and Sam Usher with Redhanded TV, will discuss their live broadcasting experiences, and how they are innovating in today’s changing media production landscape. The panel session is free for BVE attendees and takes place on Tuesday 26th February at 12 noon.
