ELP limber up for summer sports

Elstree Light and Power’s work has continued within televised sport this summer with their involvement in all three major UK tennis tournaments, Stella Artois from Queens, The Ladies Championships from Eastbourne and Wimbledon.
Working under the direction of BBC Engineering Manager John King at Queens and Eastbourne, Elstree Light and Power (ELP) supplied all the power distribution for technical vehicles and a small production studio.
At Wimbledon ELP will be providing studio lighting services for major American sports broadcaster ESPN.
The range of equipment required will include an assortment of small tungsten fresnels, MSR fresnels, Source 4 profiles, small floods and dimmers.
Commenting on the why ELP is increasingly chosen to work on the most prestigious sporting occasions, Managing Director Ronan Willson said
