PLASA Focus Registration Opens

Registration for this year's PLASA Focus opened at the end of last month, marking the beginning of preparations for one of the biggest entertainment technology events in the north of England.
The show runs this year at the Royal Armouries at Clarence Dock, not far from the centre of Leeds. It takes place over two days, 29 – 30 April, and will see the return of long-standing exhibitors such as: AC Entertainment, Adam Hall, AED Distribution, Artistic License, Avolites, Bose, Chauvet, Clay Paky, d&b audiotechnik, ETC, Hawthorn, J&C Joel, Martin Audio, Martin Professional, Midas, Nexo, Philips Lighting, Robe, Sennheiser, White Light and Yamaha.
New exhibitors include: Actus Industries, Citronic, Coda Audio, ELC, Line 6, Sound Directions, Source Distribution, Universal Stars and Warehouse Sound amongst many others. Chauvet Professional are also confirmed as this years Platinum sponsor.
30 brands will be exhibiting across two halls, while guests will also be able to avail of the Professional Development Programme that runs alongside the event, as well as over 20 seminars and product demonstrations.

Last year's show attracted over 2,500 members of the north's theatre and event production community, and organisers PLASA Events have stated they expect this to increase, as has been the trend year on year since the show's inception in 2009.
Director of Events Chris Toulmin comments: "This year will see the expansion of the Professional Development Programme in Leeds, providing visitors with more sessions to choose from than ever before, all delivered by respected industry figures."
