Wacom and Discreet pair for ‘the creative touch’

Wacom Europe and Discreet Europe are partnering to offer a special bundle of the Wacom Cintiq 18SX Interactive Pen Display, ‘The Creative Touch’ and the award-winning Discreet combustion 2.1 visual effects software.
The new bundle, which will be available from mid-June 2003, will include combustion 2.1 is Discreet's visual effects and compositing tool, available for Macintosh and Windows, and the Cintiq 18SX Interactive Pen Display that enables users to work directly with a pressure sensitive pen on the full coloured LC display.
With the Cintiq 18SX, combustion users can navigate and select the keyer and tracker with the pen directly on the screen, with absolute precision and perfect hand-eye coordination. The pressure sensitive Cintiq Grip Pen also allows users to take full advantage of the combustion paint module.
This special bundle is sold through Wacom and Discreet resellers in Europe, The Middle-East and Africa at a suggested retail price of £2990 excluding VAT in the UK, representing approximately a 20% reduction of the price of the two products purchased separately.
