bfi London IMAX Cinema to screen ‘The Matrix Reloaded’

The bfi London IMAX Cinema will offer a “new reality” in its screening of ‘The Matrix Reloaded: The IMAX Experience’.
‘The Matrix Reloaded’ from Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures and producer Joel Silver has been digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of the IMAX Experience, using the revolutionary and proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology.
The film will be presented five stories high and 85 feet wide, with a six channel audio system pumping out 12,000 watts of pure digital sound.
“We’re excited to give fans the opportunity to experience the world of The Matrix in this spectacular format,” said Joel Silver, producer of The Matrix trilogy. “The IMAX Experience of The Matrix Reloaded will add a new dimension to the film’s groundbreaking visual action, and advances the Wachowski Brothers’ vision for telling the trilogy’s story in multiple formats.”
Offering a whole new way for Matrix fans to experience one of the most anticipated films of the year, IMAX will screen the second chapter in the Wachowski Brothers’ film trilogy on 4 July.
