London-based television and film production facility 3 Mills Studios has appointed Tom Avison as Client & Sales Manager.
Mr Avison originally joined the Studios in September 2011 as maternity cover for the Marketing Manager. He moved to his new role at the beginning of October 2013.
He has experience across the film & TV industry, having worked on the production side as a location scout and unit manager (Britz, Primeval, RocknRolla), in exhibition for Everyman Cinemas & Picturehouse Cinemas as well as Film London and the British Film Institute.
Derek Watts, Studio Executive at 3 Mills Studio, said: "Over the last two years, Tom has become an integral part of the team, and I am delighted that we have found a role to allow Tom to remain at 3 Mills Studios.
"This is a new position combining elements of various aspects of the Studios' activities designed to utilise Tom's experience from the production side of the industry to improve our bookings service and client offering."
3 Mills' credits include the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies; Trance, directed by Danny Boyle; London Fields starring Billy Bob Thornton; Channel 4's The Midnight Beast, Versace, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Jessie J, National Theatre's War Horse and Punchdrunk's Drowned Man.
