DirectOut Launches Four MADI Products

PLASA at Excel in London will be the showcase for the first time in the UK of the full and unique MADI product range from German developer and manufacturer DirectOut Technologies, a specialist in MADI systems.
On show on stand C4, will be MADI routers and AES, ADAT and USB converters, SRCs, auto-switchers, splitters and the recently introduced ANDIAMO.MC, a 32 channel mic pre-amp and AD/DA MADI converter. The remote controllable ANDIAMO.MC is already recognised for its sound quality and ease of integration.
The first in the line-up of new products is the EXBOX.BLDS a MADI auto-switcher. EXBOX.BLDS provides an automatic, inaudible changeover between two identical, synchronised MADI sources should one of them fail.
A further three new developments are additions to the extensive ANDIAMO series of converters. ANDIAMO.AES is an AES/MADI converter for 64 channels with a built-in routing matrix and the ANDIAMO.AES SRC version includes sample rate converters for the 16 AES inputs.
ANDIAMO 2.AD is a 32 channel MADI AD converter and ANDIAMO 2.DA is a 32 channel MADI DA converter. The units offer unidirectional conversion between analogue and MADI with the ANDIAMOs' renowned superior sound quality. Both units include two MADI ports for increased flexibility or redundancy.
