Aspen Ships New DirectOut MADI Converters

Aspen Media has announced it is shipping the ANDIAMO.MC; a new contribution to mic preamp innovation and the latest in DirectOut’s ANDIAMO range of MADI converters.
"It's no surprise that ANDIAMO.MC delivers an uncompromising, high quality and affordable 32 channel mic pre-amp as it has been designed by DirectOut's Stephan Flock who, in his own right, is a renowned classical recording engineer," a statement from Aspen said.
ANDIAMO.MC combines 32 channels of A-grade mic preamp and A/D conversion with 32 line returns in a transportable 2U 19" enclosure.
It can be operated from the front panel or remotely using PC software and LEDs on the front panel give a quick check of signal condition of all the input and output channels.
The ANDIAMO.MC is available with dual SC fibre or one SC fibre and one BNC connections. The standard SC fibre is multimode but an optional single mode modification is available if required.
The two MADI ports can be configured as a redundant pair for seamless changeover in the event of the loss of one incoming connection. Dual redundant power supplies offer additional security.
