SeeSense To Announce New Products At IBC

SeeSense has launched a unique system designed make the transportation of "grip" equipment more compact and lighter. COBRA is a lightweight structural mast or pole that can be rolled up, and this novel and unique deployable mast system can be used for transmitters, cameras, lighting, etc., individually capable of carrying payloads up to 10kg.
Standard lengths up to 8m long can be doubled up for extra strength, rigidity and heavier payloads. In essence, bulky rigging can now be deployed quickly and rolled up and stored away more conveniently. The illustration depicts a Toshiba IK-HR1S camera mounted on a 3 metre Cobra mast. This had been carried into the Slovakian High Tatra mountains entirely packed in a small rucksack.
As official distributers for Toshiba and Pacific Corporation, SeeSense also announced three new miniature camera systems.
The new IK-HD2E is a "broadcast enhanced" version of Toshiba's well-established and hugely popular Toshiba IK-HD1 3-CCD HD miniature remote head camera system. New features include Manual User Mask setting for Auto-Shutter (exposure) and white balance, Black Gamma level set, Edge detail output - great for focus assist, and Manual Red and Blue black balance adjust. Immediate customer feedback is that it "Works Straight from the Box" and is more straightforward to use than the current IK-HD1 system. Customers find it intuitively simple to set up and superb HD images are obtainable as soon as it is plugged in.
SeeSense has been appointed as a distributor for Pacific Corporation and offer a low cost 1/3" 1-CMOS CS-mount 1920 x 1080 HD camera. The VPC-HD20 is available as a 29 x 29 x 27mm camera and also as an OEM module. There is also a High Definition PHD-02XP auto focus 20X zoom module available. This module also includes genlock and audio supported options.
Finally, in a departure into new market areas, SeeSense have been appointed distributors for the Calibre range of high quality image converters, scalers and switchers for the European market place.
