Thuraya And Astrium 'Strengthen Alliance'

Thuraya Telecommunications has announced a "strengthened alliance" with its global service partner, Astrium Services.
The companies have been close partners for over 13 years, with Astrium Services having recently received Thuraya’s 2013 award for "Most Customer Oriented Model".
Astrium Services is connected to the Thuraya network infrastructure to provide its full range of value-added services including messaging, prepaid cards and interconnection to corporate networks via the Thuraya satellite services.
Bilal El Hamoui, acting Vice President of Distribution at Thuraya, said: "Our partnership with Astrium Services has grown from strength to strength over the years.
