Saunders + Gordon buck the trend

Top London audio facility, Saunders + Gordon, are bucking the economic gloom and doom with the purchase of two Digidesign Pro Tools HD audio suites.
The systems are being used for full audio postproduction on a number of projects - including commercials for Procter & Gamble, The Guardian and Nivea, and animated children's programmes, 'Paz (Little Penguin)', 'The Blobheads' and 'The Save-Ums'.
Saunders + Gordon's Martin Granger is providing the sound design for The Blobheads and The Save-Ums. He has quickly worked his way up the ranks from runner to library assistant to Pro Tools sound designer at the London facility. Senior sound designer, Iain Grant, is working on the King Rollo Films production Wide Eyes, and the three-year mammoth project, Paz (Little Penguin).
Facilities Director at Saunders + Gordon, Tim Lofts, said: "The Pro Tools suites neatly complement the rest of our studios and will bring an extra dimension to our offering. Pro Tools is an excellent all-round audio postproduction tool, and is particularly useful for editing longform TV programmes."
