Galloway Video Challenge date set for June

The South West Scotland Screen Commission have announced that the Third annual Galloway Video Challenge will take place in Langholm on June 14-16.
The event is an innovative film making competition in which participants have 24 hours to shoot a film of no longer than five minutes in length. There are three categories of prizes.
The jury members confirmed so far are Nick Jones, Head of Film Programming at Channel 4 and FilmFour, and Nigel Smith, Projects Executive at Scottish Screen. Further jury members will be announced at a later date.
The Challenge is open to all film and video makers, and is completely free to enter, either as an individual or as a team. It is intended as a showcase for new and innovative video production, and also as a means of highlighting SW Scotland as a film location.
