Channel 4 Announces Senior Management Appointments

UK broadcaster Channel 4 has announced an upheaval of the senior management team, with new appointments taking immediate effect.
Glyn Isherwood, currently Finance Director, has been appointed as Group Finance Director and will now join the Executive Team.
Martin Baker, currently Director of Commercial Affairs, will also join the Executive Team and in addition to leading Commercial Affairs will now represent Legal and Compliance and 4Rights.
Keith Underwood, currently Director of Strategy, becomes Director of Strategy and Technology and will also be joining the Executive team.
Jonathan Allan will now take on responsibility for all revenue earning activity.
Commenting on the appointments David Abraham, Channel 4 Chief Executive, said: "One of the great strengths of Channel 4 is the breadth of talent we have within what is a small organisation when compared to some of our competitors. We have always been committed to developing that talent, and last year introduced a programme specifically aimed at growing our senior managers to become leaders of the future.
"With this in mind, I have reviewed how we work and I am delighted to be able to announce a number of changes which promote key staff to the Executive team in newly created roles and expands the team of talented people we can bring to major creative and commercial decision making."
