Source Distribution Premieres RØDE iXY At BVE

Source Distribution has announced it will be premiering the RØDE iXY and smartLav microphones at BVE 2013
The broadcast audio distributor will host the UK debut of two new products from Australian manufacturer RØDE Microphones at next week’s BVE Show at London’s Excel Centre.
On show will be the new RØDE iXY, the world's first 24 Bit/96kHz iOS compatible microphone that allows the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to become broadcast-quality portable stereo recording devices. The iXY will be joined at the show floor by the recently-announced smartLav, a lavalier microphone which can be directly connected to iOS devices - negating the need for phantom-powered preamps or wireless systems traditionally associated with lavaliers.
The new RØDE Reporter handheld dynamic microphone will also accompany a host of RØDE shotgun and voiceover microphones on permanent demo throughout the show.
Also on demonstration will be a full selection of the industry standard Genelec loudspeakers - the number one choice of broadcast and post production facilities the world over. Finally, Source experts will be on hand to showcase the intuitive and powerful PreSonus StudioLive digital mixer system.
BVE 2013 runs from 26 to 28 February and Source Distribution will be located at Booth D62.
