Glasses Free 3D Upgrade Announced

3DZignage, the world's first complete glasses-free 3D Digital Signage solution, has announced an upgrade.
3DZignage now includes a high quality service to convert standard stereo 3D video into glasses-free autostereoscopic 3D content. The quality of the conversion is high above the market standards for realtime conversion and is based on a very low cost model of just 25 euro per minute as part of 3DZignage. Output is in the generic 2D+Z (2D + depth) format, that can be used on any glasses-free 3D Display.
A similar online conversion service will also become available for non-3DZignage customers, with a different pricing model.
Conversions are processed on our servers using a fully automated system, availabe 24/7. This is the first fully automated high-end online service for these type of conversions. So far this quality was only offered with human intervention, mostly in a price range of 250 euro to 1.000 euro per minute. The new service will mainly provide a speed and cost advantage to those interested in converting S3D to AS3D.
The new service comes in handy especially for showing 3D movies/trailers, TV programmes and stock footage on glasses-free 3D displays. A good example is a 3D Display network for Cinema's, showing off 3D trailers in lobbies without the need of 3D-glasses, which can now be completely automated.
