Claranet VDC Campaign Begins

Managed services provider Claranet Germany has started a Virtual Data Centre (VDC) "Try and Buy" campaign.
The TeamDrive file synchronization system campaign runs until 31 December 2012, and gives new subscribers the chance to try TeamDrive free of charge for a month. They will also receive a 10% discount on any additional 12 months subscription for the VDC resources.
Claranet, the ISO-certified and award-winning managed cloud solution, allows companies to easily set up their IT infrastructure through a self-service portal, customizing and managing their IT resources to suit business needs.
The new VDC integrated data synchronization and collaboration solution, TeamDrive, enables IT managers to provide secure information sharing. It is a practical example of a user-oriented application within the VDC and allows employees to store data and documents securely and to easily share and collaborate on documents and other files. The VDC operates from the Claranet data centre based in Frankfurt am Main.
ISO 27001 certification and compliance with the Federal Data Protection Act ensures the use of TeamDrive delivers optimal data and information security. There is encrypted access to TeamDrive data through local or mobile TeamDrive clients for all major operating systems and devices such as Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android.
TeamDrive is easy to integrate into the VDC - using pre-prepared templates that organizations can easily customize and manage to suit their own requirements. Additional resources such as additional capacity can always be provided within minutes. If required, TeamDrive can also be connected to internal user identity management systems, for example, to Microsoft's Active Directory.
As part of the "Try and Buy" campaign Claranet provides the VDC starter kit with 100 GB of storage, resources for up to three servers and 10 client licences.
