PlayBox Technology Hits The Big Screen

A universal playout and graphics server provided by PlayBox Technology was used to feed DSP cinema projectors with daily programmes during the Green Fest in Belgrade. The event took place 14-16 November 2012 and presented a colourful programme of environment-oriented film productions.
The daily programme at the cinema comprised commercials and announcements as well as the main feature. All the media files were inserted into the AirBox playlist. The PlayBox Technology AirBox playout server connected to digital cinema projector produced perfect image quality on the big screen.
Vladimir Stanic, Country Manager, Adria, said: "The Green Fest organizers from the Environmental Improvement Centre contacted us earlier this year as they were looking for a way to cut down preparation time and avoid receiving footage on various tapes, discs etc. We recommended AirBox as it is the playout solution which supports a wide variety of formats and resolutions."
