DK Audio unveil new products at NAB

DK Audio will be unveiling a number of new products at the NAB 2003 exhibition in Las Vegas.
Among these will be the MSD600M++, an enhanced version of DK-Audio’s popular MSD600M surround meter that features increased processing speed, extra memory and a wealth of other new features. This will be shown alongside the new SDI Module, up to 4 of which can be installed in the MSD600M. The module de-embeds up to 4 channels of audio and offers facilities to re-clock the signal.
DK-Audio’s NAB new product line-up will also include the MSD200C/SA. This meter, which follows on from the successful MSD200/SA, features a full colour screen and is equipped with two analogue and one AES/EBU (96kHz) input and corresponding outputs. Although not modular, the unit shares the same features as the popular MSD600M.
A new addition to DK-Audio’s video generator range is the 1U-Half 19" wide rack mountable PT5202 compact-rack VariTime generator with front panel LCD control. Designed to provide cost-effective and reliable synchronisation for all digital studio environments, this new meter features moving text, 8 fields for PAL, 4 fields for NTSWC Master applications with internal high stability reference and Genlock to PAL, NTSC, or 10 MHz clock for slave applications. Outputs include 3 x black burst, 1 x SDI signal generator (incl. SDI black), 1 x analogue video generator, 1 x AES/EBU or analogue audio, 1 x word clock at 44.1 or 48 KHz.
A full range of existing DK-Audio/PTV metering products will be exhibited, including the PT600C – a half-rackmount equivalent of the MSD600C. Staff will be available to demonstrate DK-Audio’s unique “Jellyfish” surround sound display, which is rapidly becoming an industry standard.
