Globalstor Data launch TransPro II at NAB

Expanding their support for a broad range of digital video applications for the broadcast and video industries, Globalstor Data Corporation unveiled TransPro II™ digital dailies solution to NAB attendees in Las Vegas this week.
According to the company, the TransPro II saves valuable video production time and money, enabling film professionals to burn daily “takes” or “rough cuts” directly to industry standard DVD-R media for convenient, view-anywhere, random access to the day's shoot, making dailies production fast, easy and more budget-friendly.
Beyond dailies creation, TransPro II can also be used for video streaming production as well as long-term video archival.
Unmatched for ease of use, the TransPro II utilizes Edit Decision Lists (EDL) such as ALE, Flex and FTL files for automated deck control and automatic menu and chapter point creation for easy navigation and fast access to the video content. Other forms of EDL files can be supported by adding additional plug-ins. The high quality image and sound files can be reviewed using any standard DVD-enabled desktop computer; notebook or DVD-R compatible set top box.
"With TransPro II, we're able to offer a truly economical video production tool without compromising performance or reliability," said Scott Leif, President of Globalstor Data Corp.
"It seamlessly blends the creative and performance features that today's high-end users demand, without being so complex or cost-prohibitive that a mid-range corporation couldn't integrate it into their video requirements."
NTSC and PAL compatible, TransPro II runs a on Windows 2000 platform and offers realtime, direct to DVD encoding, a source preview/confidence check window and frame accuracy within 1/2 of a second.
An IDE-based 80GB hard drive and a high performance 4X DVD-R drive ensure, quick project turnaround as well as the ease-of-use and application flexibility.
Globalstor Data's TransPro II can be seen at their Booth SU6015 during NAB.
