Cynergy Broadcast choose JVC unit for Life TV

Systems solutions company Cynergy Broadcast have chosen JVC Professional to supply a portable production unit for family entertainment channel Life TV.
The kit includes three KY-D29E digital processing cameras with CCUs and 4-inch viewfinders, together with several hi-resolution JVC colour monitors, including the 14-inch BM-H1400PNA.
Ian Cunliffe, director of Cynergy Broadcast, said: "We chose JVC for two principle reasons: first, the KY-D29E cameras are particularly reliable, and second, having recommended JVC products to other clients in the past, we have received excellent results. JVC has an exceptionally strong stance in the industry."
The portable production unit, designed by Andrew Pearce, engineering manager at Cynergy Broadcast, can be packed into a flight case and simply plugged or unplugged for use both indoors and outdoors.
Family-orientated channel Life TV has been on-air for around 18, and wanted a complete multipurpose unit for use in their Maidstone studios as well as on location, and JVC offered the best performance against price on the market.

Mr Brill continued: "Life TV has an affiliation with Mediterranean International Television which distributes English-language programmes across Europe. One of the first key projects to use the new JVC kit will be filmed on the Costa del Sol in Spain and distributed by MIT."
