Primera Compatible With Windows® 8
Primera Technology, Inc., a leading manufacturer of specialty printers, today announced that all current shipping products are compatible with Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system.
Depending upon the product, updated drivers and software are available immediately at primera.eu/Windows8Software.html. Updates are free of charge to owners of current Primera-branded products. A number of legacy Primera products will also be supported depending upon the levels of customer demand.
Some of Primera’s best-known products include Disc Publishers Series, LX-Series Color Label Printers, CX/FX-Series Digital Label Presses and Finishing Systems and RX-Series RFID Label Printers.
“We are pleased to be able to announce our new Windows 8 printer drivers and updated software on the same day that Microsoft announces its Windows 8 operating system,” said Mark D. Strobel, Primera’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Keeping our customers up-to-date with the latest tools to keep their businesses running smoothly is a top priority of everyone at Primera.”
