Primera To Show New Disc Publisher At BVE

Primera Technology, a leading manufacturer of CD/DVD and Blu-ray Disc Publishers, is presenting its new DP-4051 Disc Publisher at Broadcast Video Expo (BVE).
This new model delivers the same industry-leading performance as Primera’s award-winning DP-4100 Series, which have a 100-disc capacity, but with a 50-disc capacity and a new, lower price of just €1795 (MSRP).
Primera’s booth #D40 is the fastest DP-4051 50-disc publisher available. It prints full-colour, 100% coverage discs in just six seconds each. This compares to 20 to 120 seconds on competitive machines to print discs with comparable print quality, making it the fastest desktop disc printer and publisher available in the market right now.
"Many of our customers told us that a more affordable, smaller-capacity version of the DP-4100 Series Disc Publishers would be a very attractive product. The new 50-disc DP-4051 delivers the same industry-leading features and performance but at a significantly lower price," said Mark D. Strobel, Primera’s vice president of sales and marketing.
DP-4051 offers separate ink cartridges for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. This saves money on every printed disc as only the colour(s) that need replenishing needs to be replaced. This is especially true for print layouts using more of one colour than another. The built-in, high-resolution inkjet printing is powered by Lexmark, a world leader in printing technology. With up to 4800 dpi quality, it has the highest printing resolution available from any manufacturer of disc printers and publishers.
Sometimes integration is required for applications like PACS/DICOM medical imaging systems, law enforcement and surveillance video, back up and archival, audio and video on-demand and more. Primera makes integration easy with a simple yet comprehensive Software Developer's Kit (SDK) for both Windows and Mac. The SDK is free to qualified developers.
The product will be shown at the BVE February 14 – 16, 2012 at Earls Court 2 in London.
