Discreet and Westcast announce collaboration

Discreet have announced an agreement with Westcast Systems to provide a professional package for the Web TV services market.
The solution includes 'VideoNavig easy' from Westcast Systems and 'cleaner', the award winning streaming and encoding software from Discreet.
Specifically developed for this bundle and dedicated to cleaner customers only, VideoNavig easy is a ready-to-use applications package for managing the distribution of any audiovisual content by streaming through any Internet, Intranet or Extranet network.
"The alliance of the two products is a key tool for all corporate, individuals, architects and institutional organisations. The combined offering enables companies to organise their audiovisual resources, coordinate the sales network and create video training sessions," says Tanguy Briand, managing director, for Westcast Systems.
