UTV Media Appoints Non-Executive Director

The Board of UTV Media have announced the appointment of Stephen Kirkpatrick (48) as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Stephen qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG LLP specialising in corporate finance and then spent 15 years with Bank of Ireland Group in a variety of senior leadership roles including Chief Executive in Northern Ireland and Head of Retail Credit for Bank of Ireland in the UK and Ireland. He is currently Chief Executive of Corbo Properties Limited, a large privately owned property company in the UK. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Mutual Energy Limited and a member of the Governing Council of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Stephen will take over the role of Chairman of the Audit Committee from Helen Kirkpatrick, who will now assume the Chair of the Remuneration Committee and take on the role of Senior Independent Director. Richard Huntingford becomes Chair of the Nominations Committee.
