LCC Technik supply lighting for Cisco Systems

LCC Photon Technik has completed the supply and installation of the lighting systems within the two new studios at Cisco Headquarters in west London.
The studios are used for corporate presentations and video conferencing to the group worldwide.
LCC Photon Technik was asked by Team 4 (part of the ITM Group) to specify, supply and install the equipment for the studios at the new headquarters. The studios are lit using a cold lighting system with fixtures from the Photon Beard range utilising Tungsten balanced tubes with DMX512 control protocol for lighting levels and intensifiers and grid-spots for light control. The larger of the two studios have two Selecon Pacific Profile spotlights to project the corporate image using gobo's.
Both studios have been designed to operate using green-screen chromakey capability as well as conventional broadcast usage with standard cyclorama and sets, using white and black cycloramas.
Studio 1 is to be used for larger productions but has a green screen area for single presenter presentations. Studio 2 is designed for interviews and video streaming on a corporate level. Studio 2 is used for a video-on-demand style set-up using green screen chromakey and smaller sets with standard broadcast cyclorama systems.
LCC Photon Technik worked alongside Phil Firestone, Mike Edwards and Andre Ingram of the I.T.M. Group to create the solution required by Cisco Systems within the timescales demanded. P & G Stage Electrical finished the installation while the main contractors were completing the fit out.
Both studios can be controlled from the MCR or controlled individually allowing the maximum flexibility within the complex.
