VFG announce acquisition of Asylum Studios

VFG Holdings have completed an acquisition of Asylum Studios from the Sanctuary Group.
Asylum Studios operate two 9,000 sq ft dry-hire stages with J shaped cycloramas and lighting grids, suited to commercials, pop promos and TV productions. Additional facilities include production offices, make up and costume areas and full on-site catering. Situated in Perivale, West London, with easy access from the A40, their location makes them convenient for London based production houses, directors and crew.
Under the agreement the current staff at the studio will be retained by VFG, including Pete Bowker the studio manager, who has held the position for five years. He previously worked as an Art Director/Production Designer.
VFG will further strengthen technical support to productions using the studio by providing on-site lighting hire and support.
Announcing the agreement, David Jennings, CEO of VFG, said: "This announcement represents an important milestone in VFG’s journey. This means building and integrating the range of services we can provide, of which studio facilities are a key part, and ensuring that whatever we provide it is of the highest quality, to achieve which we will invest in both people and equipment for our core hire operations."
